Faroese

Etymology

From German Muskat, from Old French noix muscat, from Medieval Latin muscata (nutmeg), from Lua error in Module:parameters at line 290: Parameter "sc" should be a valid script code; the value "polytonic" is not valid. See WT:LOS., from Middle Persian *mušk; ultimately from Sanskrit मुष्क (muṣka, testicle), the shape of the gland being similar.
