- blend of perebut (“snatcher”) + laki orang (“other women's husband”).
- Folk etymology: Altered from valakor, from Valak + English -or. Popular spelling influenced by prefix pe-, peng- (“actor of”). Related to the memes, comparison homebreaker with Valak (demon).
- This word become popular in 2017 because there are some scandals viral in that year.
