Etymology

Literally, to blather like Piekarski in torture. In 1620, mentally ill nobleman Michał Piekarski made an unsuccessful attempt on the life of King Sigismund III Vasa of Poland. During the investigation, the tortured Piekarski gave nonsensical testimony.
