[edit]quadlet (plural quadlets)
- (computing) A word consisting of four bytes.
- 2000, Ian Robertson Sinclair, Practical electronics handbook, page 257:
- The quadlets are time aligned for accuracy so that they may be loaded into the FIFO registers which are 32 bits wide and 64 quadlets deep.
- A group of four similar or equal things, especially of rocket fuel injectors

- The unlike-impinging quadlet has been used rather extensively in space-vehicle engines.
