From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Albanian *kall-, from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Indo-European *kel- (bend). Cognate to Latin calco (to spur) and Lithuanian atsikalti (to lean against (upon)).

From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Albanian *skala. Cognate to Ancient Greek σκάλλω (skállō, to chop), Latin skeliù (to split) and Old Norse skilja (id).[1]
