Compound of tata (“order; arrangement; system”) +‎ usaha (“business”), calque from Chinese 管理 (guǎnlǐ, “management”) or calque from Japanese 管理(かんり) (kanri, “management”).

• Used as translation of Japanese 援護(えんご) (engo, “support; help; backing​; covering; protection”) and 経営(けいえい) (keiei, “management”).
