Etymology

thermo- +‎ baric Derived from the (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Ancient Greek words for "heat" and "pressure": thermobarikos (θερμοβαρικός), from θερμός (thermós, hot) + βάρος (báros, weight, pressure) + -ικός (-ikós, -ic).
