   I don't need friends who don't read books.

2. to call

   איך קוראים לך?

   ékh kor'ím l'khá?

   What is your name? [literally How do they call you?]

   אבא שלי קורא לי כל פעם שיש בעיות עם המחשב שלו.

   ába shelí koré li kol pá'am she-yesh b'ayót im ha-makhshév sheló.

   My father calls me every time there are problems with his computer.

3. to crow

   התרנגול קורא עם שחר.

   hatarnegól koré 'im shákhar.

   The rooster crows at dawn.
