- From the proverb 人の噂も七十五日 (hito no uwasa mo shichijūgonichi, “gossip lasts just 75 days”)[1]
- From the proverb 初物を食えば七十五日生き延びる (hatsumono o kueba shichijūgonichi ikinobiru, “eating the first product of the season makes one live 75 days longer”)[1]
