What's not decent about that? This seems a very valid phrase for a traveller to need to use in a foreign country. I can't lay my hands on a phrasebook at the immediate second, but I suspect most commercial ones have twice the list of "I need ..." phrases we do, and almost certainly "I need a condom".--Prosfilaes (talk) 00:53, 14 December 2012 (UTC)

OK, I'll withdraw if you find a commercial phrasebook with "I need a condom". On the decency, until we have clear CFI, we should keep the phrasebook as decent as possible with less duplications, perhaps also without big growth, IMO. @Daniel Carrero Hello, and happy New Year. You've deleted this entry in April 2017, but I cannot find an RFD discussion apart from the one above. To be clear, I agree with the deletion, but I just want to know if it was your own decision or a communal one. @Per utramque cavernam: Happy New Year. Please see Talk:I need shampoo, where you'll find an RFD discussion I created to delete the entry I need shampoo. In that discussion, we entertained the notion that maybe the numerous "I need ..." entries could be deleted without RFDs. That's why I deleted I need a condom without an RFD, and now, after you sent that message, I deleted j'ai besoin d'un préservatif without an RFD too. I trust that if someone disagrees and wants to see them restored, they will do it themselves or create a new discussion about it. --Daniel Carrero (talk) 09:59, 2 January 2018 (UTC)
