Cognate of Old Uyghur [script needed] (çız-, to draw), Azerbaijani cızmaq, Bashkir һыҙыу (hıźıw, to draw), Chuvash чӗрме (čĕrme, to tear, scratch, draw), Kyrgyz сызуу (sızuu, to draw), Turkmen çyzmak (to draw, sketch, design), Uyghur سىزماق (sizmaq, to draw), Uzbek chizmoq (to draw, paint) etc.
