Etymology

Probably a Lua error in Module:parameters at line 95: Parameter 2 should be a valid language, etymology language or family code; the value "pregrc" is not valid. See WT:LOL, WT:LOL/E and WT:LOF. word as suggested by the long -ύ- and enlarged -κ-. Often compared to Sanskrit कारु (kāru, singer, poet) but Beekes rejects this.

Pronunciation

  2. public messenger
  3. crier
