Etymology
From Byzantine Greek ντρέπομαι and ἐντρέπομαι, from Hellenistic Koine Greek ἐντρέπομαι (entrépomai, “to look back, to hesitate”) of Ancient Greek ἐντρέπω (entrépō), from ἐν (en, “in, on”) + τρέπω (trépō, “to turn”).[1]
