1. (away) from (a general point of departure to state the direction of the movement, without implying that the subject was inside a space such as a building or a geographical place)

   Я відходжу від столу. ― Ja vidxodžu vid stolu. ― I walk away from the table.

   втікати від ― vtikaty vid ― escape/run away from

   відійти від" ― vidijty vid" ― move away from

2. from (in the fixed expression "to be far from")

   далеко від ― daleko vid ― far from

3. from (in the fixed expression "stay away from... !")

   тримайся подалі від...! ― trymajsja podali vid...! ― Stay away from ... !
