Etymology[edit]

From the root ب خ ر(b-ḵ-r), related to vapor. Compare with بَخَرَ(baḵara, to boil), تَبَخَّر(tabaḵḵar, to evaporate, to perfume with incense) and بُخُور(buḵūr, incense)[1].
