Etymology
[edit]Compound of अज (aja, “goat”) + गर (gara, “swallowing; swallower”), from Proto-Indo-European *gʷórh₃-o-s (“swallowing; swallower”). Compare Ancient Greek βόρος (bóros, “swallowing; a swallower”). Literally meaning "goat swallower".
