  1. ‘to be done or performed’
  2. practicable, feasible.
  3. right, proper to be done.
  4. one who may be seduced from allegiance or alliance, who may be bribed or hired (as an assassin).
  5. (medicine) to be treated or attended with.

  1. (scil. प्रत्यय) the class of affixes forming the future. (as तव्य, अनीय, य, एलिम, etc.).
  2. a kind of evil spirit (named either with or without the addition of यक्ष, मानुष, असुर, etc.). (perhaps v.l. for °त्या below)
