Etymology

From Old Marathi सोडणे (soḍaṇe), from Lua error in Module:parameters at line 159: Parameter 2 should be a valid language or etymology language code; the value pmh is not valid. See WT:LOL and WT:LOL/E., from Sanskrit क्षोटयति (kṣoṭayati). Cognate to Hindi छोड़ना (choṛnā).

  1. to leave
    नितीन भारत सोडून गेला.
    nitīn bhārat soḍūn gelā.
    Nitin left India.
  2. to release, remove
  3. to quit, give up
    नितीनने त्याची नोकरी सोडून दिली.
    nitīnne tyācī nokrī soḍūn dilī.
    Nitin quit his job.
