Etymology
From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Old Japanese. Appears to be the root of 緩い (yurui, “loose”, adjective), 緩やか (yuruyaka, “loose, slack; languid; lax”, adjective), ゆるゆる (yuruyuru, “loose, baggy; slowly; softly, softeningly”, adjective, adverb).
