Probably borrowed from Nepali भुटान (bhuṭān), from Lua error in Module:parameters at line 360: Parameter 2 should be a valid language, etymology language or family code; the value "inc-pra" is not valid. See WT:LOL, WT:LOL/E and WT:LOF.; probably ultimately from Tibetan བོད (bod, Tibet). Traditionally considered to be derived via Sanskrit भोटान्त (bhoṭānta), but that word is probably a Prakritism.
