Dschungel is one of a small number of German nouns which can or historically could have all three genders; see the appendix.
The masculine gender is by far the most common. The neuter gender and particularly the feminine gender are rare but also considered standard by most grammarians.
The choice of gender determines the noun's inflection: with masculine and neuter genders, the genitive and plural forms are (des) Dschungels; (die) Dschungel. With the feminine gender they are (der) Dschungel; (die) Dschungeln.
