Judenevakuierung f (genitive Judenevakuierung, plural Judenevakuierungen) (Nazism, euphemistic)

  1. (countable) a deportation of Jews
    Synonym: Judendeportation
  2. (definite, uncountable) Holocaust, Final Solution
I also want a very difficult chapter... I want to mention it here in front of you in all frankness. It should be articulated amongst us, and nevertheless we will not... in public never talk about it. [...] I mean the Jewish evacuation, the extermination of the Jewish people.
Note: Himmler’s intention in holding this and several similar speeches was not to inform high-ranking officials of what they already knew, but to have proof of their cognisance; this is also why some of these speeches were recorded and transcribed.
