From Russian КАБ (KAB) or sometimes Ukrainian КАБ (KAB), from Russian корректируемых авиационных бомб (korrektirujemyx aviacionnyx bomb) and Ukrainian корегованих авіаційних бомб (korehovanyx aviacijnyx bomb).
