Neutrodyne (plural Neutrodynes)

  1. (historical) A kind of tuned-radio-frequency (TRF) receiver in which the instability-causing interelectrode capacitance of the triode RF tubes is cancelled out to prevent parasitic oscillations that cause unwanted noise.
