@Atitarev, Cinemantique, Wikitiki89, Wanjuscha, KoreanQuoter Can you review the recent changes made to the pronunciation section? The one with the schwa in the first syllable looks weird, but it apparently has an associated sound file; if correct it needs to use {{ru-IPA}}. Benwing2 (talk) 00:10, 7 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. BTW, this pronunciation is dialectal, the feature is called я́канье (jákanʹje), which is standard in Belarusian and is also reflected in the spelling.--Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 01:50, 7 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Cherusk has a number of edits at Special:Contributions/Cherusk. —Stephen (Talk) 12:41, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Apparently, they are pushing their "fresh" ideas about the Russian phonology. I don't have time to check the audio files they have been adding at the moment. @Cinemantique, are you able to check some other edits? You seem to know something about this editor. --Anatoli T. Anyway, the pronunciation with яканье should be [tʲɐˈrʲetʲ], not [tʲəˈrʲetʲ]. --WikiTiki89 19:07, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, the most common or obvious variety, perhaps. There are many variants of a non-standard speech. [tʲəˈrʲetʲ] is a case of a dialect influenced by the standard. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 20:02, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
