@Wyang: Thanks for all these examples! But is 三藩 as common as 三藩市? Is 三藩 ever used in formal contexts? 外國地名譯名 has 舊金山(三藩市), but doesn't usually put 市 after other cities. I think we need a note on this. — justin(r)leung _{{ (t...) | c=› }} 06:11, 30 July 2017 (UTC)
