Mandarin readings[edit]

Can it be added in which contexts the two different Mandarin readings are used? 173.89.236.187 07:51, 30 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Fixed. There is only one reading. 173.88.241.33 21:35, 30 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Rfv-sense: (1) "(of water) to flow"; (2) "to boil food for a short time in water". Dokurrat (talk) 15:57, 27 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Sense 2 is verifiable: [1]. However it is clearly a alternative form or misspelling of (cuān) and definition needs to be revised.--Zcreator (talk) 19:03, 27 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Zcreator If it is only used as 川燙川烫 (chuāntàng), then sense 2 is still problematic. Dokurrat (talk) 00:12, 28 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
