Is this a suffix or just word used as the second half of various compounds? Mglovesfun (talk) 01:23, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think it not a suffix. However, we seem to have trouble putting such senses into the word where it belongs. Maybe we should just give up and put all combining forms into entries that look like affix entries. DCDuring TALK 02:18, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I can't imagine f-word being f suffixed with -word! Mglovesfun (talk) 15:09, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The following information has failed Wiktionary's deletion process.

It should not be re-entered without careful consideration.

Not a suffix. I don't think that f-word is f suffixed with -word. See talk:-word. Mglovesfun (talk) 01:20, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect to word? DCDuring TALK 03:02, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I can't see anyone searching for it. We may as well delete it outright. Mglovesfun (talk) 21:50, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The redirect might discourage an attempted addition. DCDuring TALK 20:04, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Only for people who don't know how to click on the little blue link at the top left of a page after a redirection has occurred. I think deleting it and using a good deletion summary would discourage it more. Mglovesfun (talk) 02:04, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Delete: not a suffix. Equinox 19:03, 5 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Note, fr:-word failed RFD. They of course have different CFI to us. Mglovesfun (talk) 22:31, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
