Rfv-sense: McDonald's (the fast food restaurant chain). DTLHS (talk) 16:39, 9 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

I find this a LOT in the comments of online papers with stories about McDonalds. Enough that I am inclined to pass it on the common usage criterion. Most of the durably archived references are somewhat mention-y. I added some cites however. I am inclined to call this cited Kiwima (talk) 21:37, 11 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
I don't like the New Statesman cite. The article in full is here. It's making specific reference to the fact that a Mr McGahey's name could be the subject of mockery by Welsh miners because it sounds like "McShit" in Welsh. That's not a use of McShit as a "mock name". 1.152.109.158 01:08, 14 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Quote[edit]

@Glades12 what is wrong with the quote? It is available at [1]. This, that and the other (talk) 23:11, 15 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Strike that, I see you were actually referring to the previous quote. It is in the comments section, which you have to expand. Either way I have deleted the quote; the Facebook comments plugin can hardly be described as durably archived. Well spotted! This, that and the other (talk) 23:14, 15 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
