@‎EncycloPetey Was there a particular source where you saw a reference to a flowering plant? DTLHS (talk) 03:37, 9 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Don't remember the title offhand, but it came up in the first two pages of a books.google search, among a list of other herbs, seeds, and plants. I know of no plant known by that scientific name; the only genus I found was Alipta and it's a snail. --EncycloPetey (talk) 03:43, 9 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Rfv-sense: the cultivation of mundane detachment (whatever that means). The etymon is Hindi अलिप्त (alipt, unattached, indifferent), but I can't find any definitely anglicised uses. This, that and the other (talk) 03:21, 29 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I can certainly find uses, but they all use italics, so I am happy to call it code-switching. Kiwima (talk) 19:57, 29 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
