Delete per nom's pretty good definition of emergent. Most dictionaries, even the online ones, don't have any good definition for that kind of usage. DCDuring (talk) 03:23, 17 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
Delete, SOP. Also, the new def of emergent looks good, but doesn't work too well for the phrase "emergent property": "a property having properties (...)". --Barytonesis (talk) 17:22, 18 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
