2019 citation meaning?[edit]
What on earth does the 2019 citation mean? I can't parse this sentence at all:
- In addition, Stephen Jones produced seven hats and, as the show was only eighteen looks, it was, he said, “fairly hatty”.

- D'oh, now I get it. "Eighteen looks" is a plural noun, meaning 18 fashion styles. I was reading "looks" as a verb. Equinox ◑ 14:34, 19 July 2021 (UTC)
