Rfv-sense: A sum or quantity over; surplus. - there's a Holinshed quote in there, which can often be found by old-fashionizing the spelling a bit. I tried searching for a dozen variant like ouer-summes, oversvm etc. but then gave up Roger the Rodger (talk) 07:39, 29 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

While I cannot find support for this sense as a noun, I have included a similar sense as an adjective on the citations page. Also on the citations page is a quote where I could not deduce the meaning of "oversum". On the page itself, I have added a different, more common, noun meaning, and a verb.
