"Reloaded" in film titles etc.[edit]

Missing noun sense: a kind of confidence trick?[edit]

Possibly where a mark is allowed to win a few games to encourage them to stake more before they are made to lose, e.g.

  • 1926, Collier's Illustrated Weekly (volume 77, page xxxvii)
    In the out-and-out confidence game the reload is without a rival.
