- The def says the reptiles are "in cases": does this mean they are dead and preserved? Is it a necessary component of a reptile room that they be dead? (Unusual in a zoo...) Equinox ◑ 17:11, 15 May 2023 (UTC)

- It doesn't have to be in a zoo, or have casing. Just zoos are generally good places to keep reptiles, and casing is generally useful to prevent the snakes from wriggling up your trousers Wonderfool69 (talk) 18:11, 20 May 2023 (UTC)

- I could see a very weak keep rationale on the basis that a naive reader might not realize that 1) the different reptile species aren't in the room together, because that would be unsafe for the more preylike species; 2) neither are they in the same room with humans up close, at least not all of them (again because it would be unsafe). If there is a zoo that has managed to get different reptiles to cohabit in the same space, or up close with humans, it'd be worth seeing what they call that space, but otherwise I have to vote delete as sum-of-parts and because probably not all zoos use the term reptile room for the current sense. —Soap— 09:46, 22 May 2023 (UTC)
