Used in Mary Lile Benham's Paul Kane in what looks to be a series of books called The Canadians, p. 43, as a synonym for mal de racquet.
Also in The National Medical Dictionary, volume II, p. 102 glossing [Mal] de raquet. Mal de raquet pops up pretty frequently, e.g. here where it's used alongside "snowshoe ailment;" here, confirming the definition as tendinitis. Winthrop23 (talk) 15:43, 29 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
