From RFC[edit]

Definition mixed with etymology. — Vildricianus 17:48, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cleaned it up. Somali is not my language, but it appears to me that the Somali entry should be split off to a separate page. I can’t tell if souq is a valid spelling variant or just the pronunciation. Somali just switched to the Roman alphabet over the past decade, so perhaps the spelling is not fixed yet. —Stephen 12:18, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I found nothing for a real souq of, absolute souq, a souq of a, etc. (the way mess is used). Not sure how else to look. Equinox 23:02, 30 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I found one instance of something of a souq in this pdf, only one hit for that query on google and it was that. 𝚛𝚊𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚜𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚢 · 🇹 · 🇨 · 21:18, 2 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
