"Collectively, the tourists visiting a place or landmark, hustle and bustle. There was a lot of tourism on the mountain on Sunday." I think this would be a lot of tourism (sense 1) going on, the activity, not the people. The new addition of "hustle and bustle" seems to be wishful thinking.
