rfv: Sole def given is: "Diarrhea contracted by someone from a more developed country while travelling, especially as a tourist, in a less developed country with lower standards of food hygiene."
Is the term used this insulting way? Aren't there other causes, such as simply not having resistance to the fauna of the places traveled? (Which would lead to a definition like "Diarrhea contracted by someone with an immune system unable to cope with local conditions.".) With a good definition, would this be SoP? - This reminds me a bit of something called con crud, where people who go to large gatherings attended by people from lots of different places are exposed to all these foreign people and hence foreign diseases, and get sick because of their lack of immunity. —CodeCat 19:31, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
