RFV discussion: October–November 2020[edit]

One of the two citations present is for the spelling wisenheimer, not weisenheimer.

For the record, I know perfectly well that this spelling exists. It's even my preferred spelling of the word.

But it isn't a particularly common spelling, and we only have one valid citation for it at the moment. Tharthan (talk) 10:56, 6 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • It's the only spelling I know. I added a couple uses. One of them quotes the phrase "jaded weisenheimers" from page 33 of the December 22, 1926 issue of Variety. That issue is not on archive.org (two others from the same month are). If you can find it it would be an interesting early use. Vox Sciurorum (talk) 12:49, 6 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
