Verbal noun?[edit]

Moved to WT:BP#Verbal noun? — Vildricianus 08:45, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The nocap and nodot parameters need to be added[edit]

Can someone make the same changes I made to the {{third-person singular of}} template to this template please? Thanks in advance.  (u):Raifʻhār (t):Doremítzwr﴿ 17:41, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

link "present participle"[edit]

Couldn't there be a link to present participle ? Shouldn't there be ? --Jerome Potts 10:40, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Link to Verb section[edit]

This template could yield a link straight to "<verb>#Verb", i.e. [[<verb>#Verb|<verb>]]. --Jerome Potts 10:45, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Include the translation[edit]

For non-English languages it would make peoples lives easier if we added a translation parameter for the the verb.--Dixtosa (talk) 18:58, 3 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I prefer for people to click on the link to the verb. Imagine a verb like the French verb prendre which has six definitions. Many verbs have lots, lots more definitions. Do we list them all or just pick one at random because we like it the most? Renard Migrant (talk) 19:10, 3 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
What are the odds of choosing a def at random will be the def we like the most? --Dixtosa (talk) 19:17, 3 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Named parameters include nocat, but it is not explained in the documentation[edit]

Perhaps something to do with suppressing a default handling at Category:Present participles by language, but it is not explained. Would be good if someone who knows the details with certainty could add it to the documentation. Quercus solaris (talk) 04:10, 13 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
