• Entry layout (EL) is a detailed policy on Wiktionary's page formatting; all entries must conform to it. The easiest way to start off is to copy the contents of an existing same-language entry, and then adapt it to fit the entry you are creating.
• Check out Language considerations to find out more about how to edit for a particular language.
• Our Criteria for Inclusion (CFI) defines exactly which words can be added to Wiktionary; the most important part is that Wiktionary only accepts words that have been in somewhat widespread use over the course of at least a year, and citations that demonstrate usage can be asked for when there is doubt.
• If you already have some experience with editing our sister project Wikipedia, then you may find our guide for Wikipedia users useful.
• If you have any questions, bring them to Wiktionary:Information desk or ask me on my talk page.

Attestation

Hey there. Wiktionary is an empirical, descriptive dictionary, so all its contents should be attestable. For Esperanto (and any other conlang allowed in mainspace) that means that at least three durable (published in print or posted on Usenet) attestations of use (so la imperieton fondis ili dum la kvina dinastio, not imperieto estas malgranda imperio nor oni nomis la landon "imperieto"). My apologies! It looks like I was getting a little ahead of myself with making articles on some of the more uncommon words. I've gone ahead and put some reliable references on some of the articles that required attestation. NordaVento (talk) 17:45, 20 May 2021 (UTC)

For future reference

The way to tag something for immediate deletion on Wiktionary is to add the {{delete}} template- no need to subst anything. If it's not an obvious no-brainer like the one you tried to tag earlier, you would use the {{rfv}} template for cases where you don't think the term exists according to the attestation standards of WT:CFI, and {{rfd}} for any other reason (again based on the rules in CFI). Just remember that the rfv and rfd templates require a language code, like en for English (There's a list of language codes at WT:LOL, though you could use und for Undefined if you can't figure out which to use).

Considering that the "seduction community" and incelosphere almost completely overlap with the online community, I thought that including the two would be redundant. If I'm wrong, please revert my reversion. NordaVento (talk) 12:55, 23 May 2022 (UTC)

Yeah, that makes sense. I don't think it's too redundant, since pick-up artist terminology isn't really limited to the internet these days, and our categories reflect that (what with Category:en:Seduction community not being a subcategory of Category:English internet slang).
