• Our Criteria for Inclusion (CFI) defines exactly which words can be added to Wiktionary; the most important part is that Wiktionary only accepts words that have been in somewhat widespread use over the course of at least a year, and citations that demonstrate usage can be asked for when there is doubt.
• If you already have some experience with editing our sister project Wikipedia, then you may find our guide for Wikipedia users useful.
• If you have any questions, bring them to Wiktionary:Information desk or ask me on my talk page.

Formatting

Romandalusí, if you're going to add more Mozarabic words to descendants lists, please:

1. Add them under Spanish as borrowings, preferably to the Spanish entry itself, when appropropriate.
2. Use the format below:

* {{desc|mxi|-}}
*: {{desc|mxi|تْرانْكة|tr=tranka|sclb=1}}
*: {{desc|mxi|תראנכה|tr=tranka|sclb=1}}

They are not borrowings. Mozarabic was not any sort of arabic castillian but an evolution of latin Romandalusí (talk) 17:50, 22 January 2020 (UTC)

Source of Mozarabic spellings?

Hi! I noticed new Mozarabic descendants in some Latin entries, and that you've been adding them. What source are you using to find Arabic/Hebrew spellings? Also, don't you think it'd be better to only list one, the one that is attested? I mean, considering how scant the total amount of Mozarabic is... I take it you're assuming what the Hebrew would look like when there's only Arabic and viceversa.

I'm asking this because some of the spellings look questionable. Is a haa' really called for at the end of the descendant of argentum? Same for sanctus. In the Mozarabic I've read on jarchas.net, final -u never seems to be written with a haa' هاء. Does a manuscript have šadda at the beginning of rōbīgō? That is an odd use of šadda in normal Arabic, but I don't know about the Mozarabic manuscripts, I've never been able to look at them....--Ser be être 是^talk/stalk 22:05, 22 February 2021 (UTC)
