- affidamento intrafamiliare: the custodial assignment of a minor child to a family member other than a parent
- affidamento in prova al servizio sociale (probation in social service): the assignment of a juvenile delinquent to a rehabilitation program (similar to probation) alternative to detention, in the case of a sentence of less than three years Wp
