alluminor (plural alluminors)

  1. (obsolete) An illuminator of manuscripts and books; a limner.
    • 1607, John Cowell, The Interpreter:
      Alluminor denotes one, that by his Trade coloureth or painteth upon Paper or Parchment. At this day we call such a one a Limner.
