From Ancient Greek ἀναπόδοτον ‎(anapódoton), alternative spelling of ἀνανταπόδοτον ‎(anantapódoton), neuter of ἀνανταπόδοτος ‎(anantapódotos), from ἀν- ‎(an-, not) + ἀνταποδίδωμι ‎(antapodídōmi, I give back, correspond with)
