anthropomorphist (plural anthropomorphists)

  1. One who anthropomorphizes.
    • 2007 January 22, The New York Times, “New CDs”, in New York Times[1]:
      (Instead of do-re-mi-fa-sol, it’s “Foals in winter coats”; Mr. Mercer is a hard-core anthropomorphist.)
  2. (religion) One who attributes the human form to God.
