Probably ultimately from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Italian volta, through a (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Lua error in Module:parameters at line 360: Parameter 1 should be a valid language or etymology language code; the value "sla" is not valid. See WT:LOL and WT:LOL/E. intermediary (Serbo-Croatian bolta, Bulgarian болта (bolta)), also in part from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Hungarian bolt.
