Etymology

(deprecated template usage) [etyl] Ancient Greek χιασμός (khiasmós, marked with an X) derived from χι (khi, Greek letter X khi) +‎ -lite. So called from the resemblance of the crosscuts of its crystals to the Greek letter chi.
