  1. Suitable for development, often specifically for construction

  2. (photography, of a latent image) Which can be developed into a visible image.
  3. (geometry, of a surface) Described by a moving right line, and such that consecutive positions of the generator intersect each other, allowing the surface to be developed into a plane.
